WOW, love what you did to the truck. Super clean and tastefull mods. Love the fact that it is not overly lowered and you use it as a truck.

Didn't like the +50 offset, they looked sucked in. I would need 25mm adapters, and those get pricey. FTL

Today the original plan was to just do the head gasket, but I ended up doing the timing chain, guides, and tensioner. when I popped open the valve cover one of then ends of the guides had broken. luckily the bits and pieces were stuck right at the bottom, and hand not fallen into the the oil pan. only one bolt was K.I.A. not an important bolt. it attached the radiator shroud. Well I didn't get as many pictures as I would have liked. but here is how I left the pistons after cleaning them.

    The guide and snapped bolt.

the pistons, I didn't get a before picture, but this is half way thru it.

    the end result.

I should have taken a picture of how black they were from carbon buildup. o well.
Its all back together now, took about 8 hours to do. I need to go back a degrease the engine again.
when I was using the air nozzle to blow the head stud threads out I sprayed gunk every where.
Man is it a hassle when you have a 22r with all the accessory's on the motor. I was used to just the alternator, lol. I had to remove everything to get the front cover off.

Its Idles better now and pulls a lot nicer. whoever had this truck before me never did anything to it, it was all original. the head gasket was clogging the water ports. its all better now. FTW
