Thanks Tuhd. Well I have had a bit of success on ebay with selling some extra Celica stuff I have been hording. Here is my first purchase. I ordered a new rubber from RockAuto but this one is pretty good, and quite soft. May use it.

Also ordered another steering wheel, an ash tray and have ordered new front glass. I bought new gasket for the front glass a while back. Hoping that will put an end to my final leak

Like most things on the old girl - good from far, far from good. A number of scratches. Maybe some tint and/or some decals to hide a few at some point. Went in pretty smooth with the rope method.

Where did you find the solid rear glass? Looks so much better than the slider.

Couldn't get my air shocks to stop leaking, so I upgraded the fittings and went to 1/4" lines. Pretty sure I am air tight now. (a little soapy water still evident)

    Minty fresh windshield installed!

Still freaks me out once in a while to look in my rear view - "hey, someone kicked out my rear window!"

New window banner for my new windshield. Was worried white was going to be too much, and red wasn't going to match the red of the truck. Went with black. Pretty subtle, but that is ok.

    Less subtle from the inside

Been looking for an aftermarket steering wheel, but came across a SR5 wheel in decent shape on ebay. I like it actually and feels waaay better than the hard plastic stock one. You will also see that I filled my ashtray hole (another ebay purchase). Need to paint it yet (it is brown). Now just the radio opening to fill. That and someday hopefully a new panel. Mine is cobbled together with crazy glue.

Where did u get the fittings and line for your air shock setup?

I'm ditching my Gabriel's cus I couldn't get them to maintain pressure. Got some Monroe's I haven't put on yet.

    Your setup looks solid!

Finally picked up the weatherstrip I bought from Rock Auto at my US address. It will be going back, because I don't need it, but it would have fit the aftermarket (C.R. Laurence) slider I had. I believe the factory slider requires a wider channel.

    Thanks Justin.

"Black Cloud" in Kanji straddles "Battalion" in Katakana.

A company in Atlanta - "Black Cloud Battalion (BCB) is a group of artists, designers and engineers united by a common love of all things automotive". I have no affiliation other than coming across them on a Celica forum.

Well i have spent a little while looking at options for treating the inside of my bed. I have some rust, some paint, some bare metal, some original primer. I didn't want a spray or roll on liner - wouldn't look right with the condition of the rest of the truck. Couldn't leave it - could see rust starting to form on the bare metal. After some research and googling decided to go with this - http://www.permalac.com/html/PermalacProducts.html. Used for outdoor sculpture and patina. Not sure how it will hold up, or if one can believe the claims "UV and corrosion inhibitors as well as wide ranging temperature stabilizers assures endurance in harshest conditions ranging from arctic freezing, to desert heat, to beachfront salt air to acid rain". I ordered the satin finish. A little more shine than I would have liked.

Will see how it holds up. If it does, I may coat it again with the matt finish. Rained today and for sure it is better protected than with nothing!!
