So this is my 84 xcab with a 22re. my father in law gave it to me in the early part of oct 09. ive had my work cutout for me on this one. To start, the truck had a rebuilt motor and then sat for 6 years with a full tank of fuel.So i had to replace most of the fuel system and clean the tank. God knows why i cleaned it and did buy a new one but im cheap what can i say. so once i cleaned and repaired the fuel tank, lines i put in a Denso high proformance fuel pump with a with a highflow rail, i found once i did the upgrades that the manifold had a crack that was not able to be fixed. so i got a new old manifold from the local junkyard and did my own portmatch and pollish job. damn this thing runs great. Besides all the wiring problems and i mean PROBLEMS this has been a fun start. Thanks to all the guys who helped me on the site . heres a few pics to show a little work and i will be posting some more soon.
