    Looks good.

I just got the a/c parts pulled. I figure it's best that you see the cab so you know exactly where to put the holes for the r134 lines in the firewall. I'll pm you my number.

I'm wanting to do the same 4 runner bumper blacked out on my truck since mine is all black.

How did you end up painting yours? Remove the chrome or just sand and paint?

The right way to do it on chrome is sand/scuff the chrome, then use a self-etching primer (they sell them in spray cans too), then paint. The acid in self-etching primer will make sure that the primer sticks to the metal (chrome) and your paint will stick to the primer.

Just about any other way risks the paint peeling off.

Yeah, I've done painting for years, just curious how you went about with yours. The only way I've ever done it is have a local metal shop in my area dip it to remove the chrome first, then sanded and etched with 2K primer.

I'm hoping I find a black bumper to start with, but if not, I guess I'll go through that method.

i honestly just washed and degreased it all pulled it apart and then primed and painted then cleared all paint can i would usually have it done by the shop whos gunna paint the truck but i noticed That during the transportation or being in the garage the chrome part got dented so i really wasnt to worred about it since i will be looking for a dent free one and that one will be done right
