    A few more pics

Decided I didnt need an antenna either nor did I want my stock tranny brace so those both got tossed as well. Had a Grant Fab brace lying around the shop and it seemed to do the trick and now I get about another inch closer to the ground due to it.

Yah I made the front corner fillers from scratch I used $20 worth of material for something Grant charges $100 for, most his stuff lately that Ive seen fits like garbage anyway so wasnt gonna spend that $$ when I can make it.

Ya I made my own fillers too just haven't had time to put them in. Grant is a good metal worker but I can't bring myself to spend tht much on metal.

Just went through all 22 pages of your build. Pretty nice I'd have to say:waytogo:. I dont know how I never read through this build before, but I'm subscribed now... LOL So I assume you got the tranny mount sorted out as I she its laying semi-frame like mine? I also realized which 20's you are selling (i inquired about before) but shipping would be nuts (wish there were a better way). Truck looks good. How is blocking out that skin going? I'm about to do mine as well. I plan to Z mine and switch front setup early next year. Keep up the good work Bro, I'll be following your build from now on. Lets see some more pics (front setup and trans x member) :waytogo:

The front is still garbage but will hold for now. I'll get pics of tranny x memeber today. I still have a crossmember to remove (basically just a piece of pipe with a plate welded on it for dragging purposes but its keepin me off the ground) I still have to build back braces and sheetmetal the inside of the skin before I start bodywork but at the moment its pretty straight so as long as I dont heat it up too much doing the bracing I shouldnt have to do too much before starting the body work.

Yah It would probably cost $200 to ship those rims with the tires OFF so no worries there. I have to use them today anyhow cause I blew another tire and all the shops in town have to order the tires I have so gotta wait till tuesday.

Thanks for the props, your truck is comin along nicely too, wish I could get mine in primer but with the small amount of time I have to work on this during the week all the moisture in the air keeps setting me back cause i have to sand all the rust off the bare metal, I need a temp controlled garage hahahhah

Nice work bro :waytogo: I had a real pain in the ass time blocking my gas door . There were some factory high spots on mine where the 2 pieces are spot welded together, look out! Hahaha. Hove fun with the bodywork  . I need a tuneup too .

Yah I hate body work especially since this thing is a ten foot truck LOL looks good from 10 feet then you get up close and see all the dings and highs and lows, definetly not painting it red again. However all I got is hotrod black primer so guess its gonna look dirty till paint!! Not looking forward to the gas door either cause I used the stock door instead of a filler plate then had to make a plate for the key hole, grinded the heck out of it but yah its gonna be a beoch, so is the seam between the skin and rollpan. My problem I wanted to have a custom non bolt on ride for once in my life hahahha

Body work done...well good enough for now, shot it in high build I will block it out and then spray and block a few coats on entire truck in the coming month.

    Mirror holes shaved
    [IMG]
    Driver fender pockets shaved
    [IMG]
Skin/Rollpan shaved, love the way its looks, sooo smooth and sexy
    [IMG]
Passenger fender pockets and gas door shaved, WHAT A FKIN BITCH THAT WAS!
Passenger corner light and antenna hole shaved
    [IMG]
    Driver side corner light shaved!

Then I took out my crossmember holding my drag plate and it lays frame all the way around except a tiny bit in front since subframe crossmember hits the ground but a good ol Z should fix that.
