well, I bought a 1988 mazda b2200 for 750 bucks yesterday, drove 200 miles to trailer it home. Its got a 22r with 2 weber 40 sidedrafts on a cannon intake, electric fans, and a w58. My friend went with me and decided he wanted it so he bought it off me for the price I paid for it and is giving me the sidedrafts for free and ill give him my old weber downdraft.

I took my motor apart today, I have it all in the truck ready to be dropped off at united speedway tomorrow. they are going to grind my crank, bore my block .50 over, clean the block, and shave my flywheel, Idk how much I wanna take off of it yet. While thats getting done, Im having my valve cover, timing cover, all the brackets on the motor and other pieces under the hood powdercoated...

all of this is exciting and should look awesome but the sorry thing is I cant afford to put a tag and insure it for a few more weeks till I can scrape up some more hours at work or mow some lawns if it takes me lmao


heres some pics you whorress this thing runs and drives awesome and gets down for a 22r lol I dont know if theres more work done to it or not.

 

There used to be a guy on Mazdabscene that bought a Mazda with a 22re in it or maybe a 22r but his was an ex cab. If I ever got a Mazda again I'd do the swap I can't stand the Mazda motor

actually if I remember it was.. rolling...again..again...again...again.. and hopefully again tomorrow hahahaha.Im making progress, I think im doing good for not ever knowing jack about cars motors trucks planes or trains to fixing my own sh1t through almost 3 years of trial and error...This will be the last time I hope. I almost zeroed my checking account today to get this done right...

they are actually for sale, they are around 4k new without tires, Ill sell for 750 as is with 2k miles on the tires

18 by 8 I beleive. I want some black 20s. And im not sure if these tuck under the bed or not. havent tried but it looks close.

they are daytons 100 spoke knock offs ( knock off is the style, they are real dayton rims.)

 

that always pops into my mind when i hear dayton knock offs.. lol
