    Cool,

I go to chesterefield auto parts and circle auto parts frequently for parts. Let me know if you need anything and I will keep a look out for you.

Having problems. How do I run my heater because one I put on the LC Stage 3 Head I notince that I can't mount the heater parts that mount on to the head that conects the Driver side timing cover water to the Passenger side timing cover water ports. I am also having problems fitting my Side Draft with the filter because the filter is hitting the A/C hard lines that is going into the cab. What are my options. If needed I will send pics to clearify.

The air filters for the sidedraft (DCOE, PPH) carbs come in different heights. One place you could check is Bap Geon Auto parts in Chesterfield (midlothian trnpk). They carry the vw (EMPI brand) filters for sidedraft carbs. They may stock or special order the filter you need to clear the ac lines. I'd suggest you talk to them in person rather than on the phone because they aren't that helpful.

I will have it running tomorrow. I will get my exhaust installed tomorrow so I can tune it. Right now it is so loud cause all I have are the headers on.

First Start after LC Stage 3 Install

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYksrgwnMHU

Here is the link after the first start. I still haven't done any fine tuning and adjustments. I will be getting to that this week. What you all think, I know I still have to do all the little things that will make this motor get the full potential. What do you all suggest, I will be borrowing my friends Timing light to make sure the timing is set. I also will get the Carb Sync that I ordered tomorrow.

I will post more videos later.

What would cause the truck not to start? I was trying to adjust the carbs with the syncronizer and fine tune it. When the truck died out and I tried to restart it, I can't get it to start. sounds like the truck is not getting fuel. I tried adjusting the air and fuel screws and the butterfly screws. what do you all suggest I do and take a look at?

If you have all the ingredients (fuel/air/spark) try pulling on the choke on both carbs...

How did it die out? If it ran out of fuel the idle should of fluctuated, high then low, then die out... If it died out fast like some turned the ignition off, check the ignitor...
