    It's alive!!! :waytogo:



    But... I hear a slight noise that I don't like. It sounds like a bad throwout bearing hum/low pitch squeak... I have a very bad feeling I'm not getting enough lubrication on the valvetrain... :brickknock: I'll find out more tomorrow morning...

    Otherwise, it's timed and roughly tuned yet feels really good so far! :evil:


    *note to self: LC engine mounts don't line up properly out of the box and has too much fawkin vibration! :verdict_in:

    Hybrids got about 120 miles so far, slight oil leak coming from rear half-moon... Haven't RTV'd it yet as I still need to do a hot valve lash, just making sure I get the rings seated the way i like it...

    Vids to follow hopefully by Tuesday... Doing a patio paver project with the wifey this week/weekend... :cool:

    Break-in done! Changed the oil and re-did the valve lash today... She's runnin strong! :evil:

    Now, I got another problem tho.... The rear end feels like i'm on ice, its looser than loose! Hit the gas and it pullls left, let off and it goes right! WTF! :verdict_in:

    Need to change da axle bearings or swap in an 8" unit instead.... Anyone got a 79-83 G-code/8" rear for cheap? :waytogo:
