lolz ya we kinda do lolz i need to mount my deck but thats not important right now lol

I like the fact that this cam has a choppy idle and it will spin my slicks with no problem and it also has a longer power line when driving on the freeway =)....

Uhhh the crawler cam certainly does not have any sort of a choppy idle. It will lug down to about 400 rpm just great but the power band falls flat about 4k and it won't spin much passed 5500. Trust me I put these cams in 4x rigs quite often for those exact reasons and there is no way in hell I'd waste my time putting one in a 2x street rig. I guess if you want to try putting uber tall gears in the rear and shifting at 4k in a drag race but that'd suck.

    I Got A 20R Head & Intake =)

So When I was at school I was Writing down Ideas on what i wanted to do with my Mojave.. and The thought of building 20R/22R hybrid came up... I brought up the idea with some of my friends (Honda Kids) and they just laughed at me so I just went back to working on the my yota and thats when I decided to build up my Hybrid. I looked around and Low and behold i found a Complete 20R Head and intake for 125.00 so I mobbed over thier picked it up and now my 20/22R Hybrid build Begins :D

Not weird esse... 83-84 had single row chains, 82 was the last of the duals... But, some few lucky 83's had the dual, maybe left over stock on the assembly line...

Either way, the timing cover and components will interchange so if you wanna do a dual chain setup just buy the timing kit and cover along with the correct oil pump... :waytogo:

i think the oil pumps are ok to switch, but the "oil pump drive spline" is shorter or longer dependong on single or double row timing chain...

    double row=shorter drive spline
    single row= longer drive spline..

the longer drive spline from single row timing set with double row timing gear won't let the crank pulley go all the way on,sticks out too far, and front main seal probably won't seal. i put my stuff on there to mock up and i could see that the pulley was one chain width too far out and wouldn't meet seal in oil pump due to oil pump drive spline stopping the pulley from going in any farther. so i got the right drive spline for dual row and will put the oil pump on tomorrow or the next day(it's at work, gonna paint it before i put it on since everything else is now shiny and new looking)

parts stores didn't have it(even a local specialty import one) but LCengineering sells it for $30. i got it from said import parts store who got it used from an engine shop that dealt with a lot of toyotas i guess

    part you need to buy/find-------------------v

Today painted my motor parts a couple still need to be painted but im getting thier some older guy came in the shop today and told me "it looks really nice looks like u put alot of work on the top end what about the bottom end" and then i realize that everyone that puts rebuilds the top end and dont touch the bottom end ALWAYS spin a bearing or blow a ring so i thought it would probley be a good idea to change out the bearings and piston rings....So yet again change of plans amigo

Change out piston rings and bearings..
Get Cam grinded 292 from delta cam
    Scoop up a Weber 38 from B.Y.E
Build up my 20R for the hybrid
    Order parts.
    Install parts
    Weld Rear End
    Top off with fluids
    Then Hopefully it Will start

Valve cover i just got done painting sexy aint it lol

So this morning i was taking the valves out of my 20R head and noticed they looked kinda big for stock valves but it still had the TEQ logo so i got one of my 22R valves from my other head and stuck it in the 20R Head then and a big smile came on my face....a perfect fit.....just saved time and money lol
