big thankyou to 89dlx. I have some nicer rims and tires. Purchased 89dlx's old rims and tires. Turns out the tires didn't work out so well. No big deal. I found some fresh take off from a bmw dealer tech. They are toyo proxes in the 225/50/r17 flavor. No rubbing, run smooth as butter. Handle really well. After a little trouble they are well worth it. Did the clutch last weekend and ran to Kansas city for a test run. Everything flat out works on this truck. Good gas mileage, smooth running, and reliable. Next should be some body work, window tint, and finally address the rear brakes as they suck ass.
here's some pics and a teaser of my other rig the 84 wheeler.
