so today i came across some new wheels i think make the truck much better. apparently the wheels i had turned out to be 16x8 and wanted more dish into the wheel so i picked these new wheels up that are now 16x10...... kinda wanted 12's but these will do for now. :D

for those who wanna know. the wheels are 16x10. 4 1/4" offset, 265/70/16 long trails

4Runner looks great SD! If you want armor for that, All Pro's got some sick looking sliders and tube bumpers, front's even got a winch mounting point.
They are kinda pricey, but not as bad as a WARN bumper.

further foolin around i also experimented with a 89-94 front bumper from a 2wd pickup. i know the 4x4 ones are a bit wider to make up the gap you'll notice in the shots and will also drop down further to give the bumper more area to cover more frame. i think it looks good though.....

yea. what i ended up doing was i laid the bumper on the original brackets from the truck itself and taped two holes to mount the top side of the bumper. for the mean time the ends of the bumper are zip tied into place till i can acomidate a bracket to bolt it in place.

been quiet lately so i guess ill show off a little progress on one of the trucks...... as of late the truck got a little altitude adjustment via the 3" downey lift i had bouncin around in the back... made the ride a bit bouncier but i think most of it is in the rancho shocks that came with the lift. think ill be upgrading to bil's here pretty soon..... also shown are the marlin s.s. brake lines wich improved the braking feel of the truck immensely :D

i got that natural annoying 4runner sag in the back....... seems like there's no real cure for that unless i grab a longer shackle to offset the height.

among the lift i also added some 1.5 inch spacers in the rear to match up the front spacers as well....

I've heard add-a-leaf kits do nicely for the rear-sag. Just don't get too small of a size or you'll F*** up your rear springs. Like 27" or so, I forget what my friend recommended.

    thanks guys.

the only thing about doing the add-a-leaf is that it stiffens up the ride to compensate the lift and will also be worse for flex. if i do shackles though it'll bring it up and still have the same preload...
