Sup everyone here on Toyota Minis, my names JR and i just picked up my first truck ever. I've always had Hondas, 2 EG coupes, an EG hatch, an oldschool Prelude, a CRX, a Del Sol.. but I've always liked the Toyota mini trucks, so I'm gonna start working on this '88 i just got.

Anyway, here's what the truck looks like:

I have a few plans for it like Lowering it, Rolling fenders, BBS wheels (15 or 16's), HID's & Yellow Fogs, Hood Deflector & Window Visors, & Woodgrain Steering Wheel. I'm new to these pickups so i have no idea how to lower them, I've been reading on the forums about how to drop them but i cant grasp the whole torsion thing. All i need is help on how to drop it enough to have no wheel gap. Anyway, I'll be posting pics of all my progress. Hope you enjoy my project along with me

i came from a few hondas back when i started getting serious into modifying cars as well lol. lowering these trucks can be a helluva lot cheaper then a full damper coilover on a honda or even a set of springs. very clean truck!

here is mine sits on about a 5/4 drop with 15x8.5 wheels and a -19mm offset

they are from western wheels. about all i know about the wheel and that was after 4 hours of research lol. the company itself is no longer around and produced wheels for manufactures as well as a few aftermarket models.

There are lots of Ford and GM OEM mesh wheels available. Then paint them gold or bronze. Crown vics, Gran ams, ect.

I got some 3' drop blocks today and installed them on the truck this afternoon, I'm pretty satisfied with the results. Will post pics tommorrow. Now I need to go to Toyota and buy some new torsion bolts so I can lower the front. Thinking of getting drop spindles but I'll have to wait to save up some more money.
