Just learned that this hose is discontinued from Toyota. Model #16261-35080.
Y'all are my last hope in finding it... somewhere? Toyota said none exist anywhere in the states (in their warehouses).

In the attached image, the hose on the bottom is the original off my 22R. The one above it is what YotaShop.com sent me even though the description matched everything I have. This hose goes from the water pump to underneath the intake manifold.

    I'm open to suggestions!

If this is the hose you are talking about I don't have one but have found similar in the silicone kits. The one you have seems like it would fit but might sit in a slightly different position. IMG_20230617_204347.jpg

Looks like it would give the oil filter a little more clearance. Maybe it is an updated part to stop oil from weakening the rubber.

The 20R had a metal pipe for that position so you can use a shorter rubber hose

Thanks for the replies! The new hose won't fit due to the air pump crap that's in the way.

I considered removing the air pump but I don't know much about what else to remove that has to do with all the vacuum junk. It is pretty much stock with the exception of a Jacobs Electronics coil and wires

Do you have emissions testing where you live? If not do a complete desmog

I would like to. No emission testing in Georgia as far as I know. Only been here for a year and a half so I may look into it.

As for the hose, I'm gonna try making the other hose work. Just gonna get spring to slide over the hose so it won't kink

I have a weber clone on mine and a complete desmog. Getting 23mpg. It's not really complicated and you can do it on a weekend. I highly recommend getting the one piece carb adapter from transdapt though. The two piece adapters that come with kits "will" leak over time.

Good to know! At the moment, I just want to drive it again. It sat for over 25 years. But desmogging would really clean up the engine bay. I see LCE has a kit for it with instructions

You can never go wrong with LCE. I got my head from them. I use them for my 20r 77 Celica as well. The kit they sell has the 2 piece carb adapter though. You'd need to source the one piece transdapt adapter separate.

The desmog kit is really reasonable $150. Definitely gonna consider this but for now, I have to get this on the road. Also after reading their instructions, they recommended a new carb since the stock carbs are known for issues after desmog. Thanks for the tips!
