yeah... that's the thing about hoods I don't like messing with.... one mistake.. driving along... goes my windshield and hood.

 

But the hooks look so much cooler CIN!!! HAHAHA JK DUX_TRUCK. Yea i want to see some pics please

 

The hooks on our trucks is like the tow hooks on the rice burners. Everyone has them but most of them dont use them for what there suppose to be used for.

 

I love it when I put the tow hooks to good use! It's very satisfying lol and rare for sure!
I had my hood fly up once it's scary. Like sudden loss of visibility at higher speeds could be very dangerous with traffic around you. I instictively slammed on the brakes when it happened to me. Ever since then I pretty much always go out and buy some hood pins to prevent it from ever happening.

the 22r / 22/2- swap has been good to me ... but! there is a power cap !!

and if you do your homework !(pre) is a better ENGINE all around almost 150 stock?... lol

already have arp studs ,rod bolts , main studs , 8.5 forged pistons, turbo, so all I need to do is a ffimf and a intercooler .....

Pred said the manifold is **** because on the 2RZ, it's the most restrictive thing on it. I'm cool with the 2RZ swap, lol. I believe Pred upgraded his 2RZ's manifold to a 3RZ? He's got a turbo 2RZ going on.

My 22RE is going out and a LexV8 is going on. Give that time.

 

Now see if he would have came across like that ... that would have been fine... just seemed more like bashing to me...

and the lex v8 swap will be nice ... what trans you going to go with ?

 

Woah buddy, all I said was it's a ****ty manifold. Chill out haha damn. And it's ****ty because it's restrictive and points in a bad direction. It makes it hard to run a decent front mount setup without all kinds of crazy bends in your ic piping. Idk who pissed in your cheerios this morning but i've already been through all this. Just trying to give some advice...
