love the bomber style seats. Are you going to pad it or run it bare bones?

 

Hix Design will be doing a bottom pad (check earlier post for leather pic). Waiting to get a chalk stencil in the mail from Ryan (who's doing the seats) of the back design so the bottom pad can match it.

 

Just went on Hix Designs web site and Damn!!! they get down.

 

Seats are just about done. Only thing left is for Kyle to finish wrapping the bottom cushions. Then I can send that and the engraved center back pieces to Ryan so he can finish assembling them together.

 

Those are bad ass.

 

These are the scratch built bottoms for my bomber seats wrapped in hand distressed leather. Big thanks to Hix Design for exceeding my expectations, wouldn't expect anything less!

Ryan got one of the seats installed on the factory seat brackets for front/back adjusting


Going to have him make a piece to cover the seat bracket, here's a quick photoshop

 

could just hit the rails with a wire brush wheel and scuff em up a bit, they'd probably match the seat than.

 

that would be cool too. either hitting the rails or getting the covers fabbed up.

 

I think overall the cover would look better, plus Ryan said it won't be hard to make it

Thanks, and it's not a daily so I'm not too worried on how comfortable the seats are. I haven't sat in them yet to see how they are since the truck is a few hours south of me right now.

 

Seats are badass. I want some like tht but with cushion on the back.
