I'd like to thank and welcome Precision Installs out of Van Buren, AR and Pro Image Customs from Caldwell, TX for joining the build. Precision Installs will be doing a new frame from the firewall back with a mandrel bent backhalf and body drop. I'll be getting my air ride parts from Pro Image Customs.

 

Got my new cup holders in the mail today. They'll sit recessed in the aluminum center console.

 

In the past week I changed the coolant, tranny fluid, all new belts, and a new head gasket. Hoping to take the truck down to Texas this weekend to get the aluminum bomber seats started.

Thanks to Laodies Kustomz out in Iowa who will be sponsoring a set of tubular control arms. And thanks to Air Ride Equipment in Southern Cali who will be supplying some Universal Air strut bags for the rear and putting them together with a pair of coilovers.

Got a new water pump and speedometer cable Thursday. Just waiting for someone to be able to ride with me to Texas to drop it off.

Also started working on the first build video....definitely not used to being in front of the camera haha

No doubt haha. Still in the planning/acquiring parts stage of the build so not the most exciting thing to others......yet lol

Like I said in my last post I'm just waiting till one of my buddies has time to go with me to drop off the truck in Texas to get the bomber seats going. So hopefully this coming week before Showfest.

Dropped the truck off yesterday at Ryan's Sheetmetal Designs to get the aluminum bomber seats and center console done! Progress pics to follow soon.

 

Raceline wheels have been ordered from Billet Inc. Ryan still has the truck doing the seats and center console.

Updated Rendering: All chrome/polished parts will be brushed, brushed effect inside graphic, louvered hood, and new mirrors

 

your truck stock has no dings really... wow.

 

Ya it's in pretty good condition I think for how old it is. The clear is comin off the hood and it has some scratches but the only dings/dents I've noticed are a small one on each side of the fenders but those will get swapped for 4wd ones. Hopefully it won't need too much body work when it comes time for paint.

 

I Noticed you changed up the mirrors from the first couple pics!? Why the sudden change??

Got the wheels but they didn't brush the lip or clear them. Sent them back to have done how I wanted. Sure is a purdy wheel though!


Ryan will be starting on my interior next week so I'm revising the design of them. Still have to do the center console design.
