Well people, I am thinking of rattle can my truck one color. The thing is the hood and drivers fender I have right now has been on for the last 10 years while it was sitting and has this really great surface rust patina, I mean perfect rat look.

Should I just sand them down and paint or try to sell these perfectly patina'd panels and get some fresh ones?

3m makes a rust spray that converts rust to metal. Sand the panels with a red pad clean then spray the rust stuff. Dry then knock down again with a red pad. Prime then paint. Works great.

I am not exactly sure on the year. I think they are 09 or 2010.

Those rims are suprisingly hard-core looking. It's pretty sick.

tailgate looks badass. you should do the whole thing flat black to match the tailgate. do it up oldschool; low, primerd black on whitewalls and loud as F*&^ with lots of badass pinstriping.

Well I am going to paint it all black. The bed is already painted like the tailgate. I am going to do red scallops and strip the edges and a small piece on the hood.

I am not going to run whitewalls though. I am going to stick with the 18's :D
