i can tell you what i have run into so far with making 20s fit mine and it all implies whether you body drop it or just bag it. in order to lay full frame you will have to z the front which is what i am fixing to post pics of my progress with. after you z the front you will have to tub the firewall and relocate the brake booster and the clutch master cylinder as the 20s will occupy that section of the cab. even before when i had the 20s on i was not laying out because they were wedged into my firewall and brake booster and still was 2 inches off the ground at the front crossmember. you can bag it and throw 20s on it if you dont care if it lays and call it good but you have to get some serious lift up front to untuck them. in the back they fit decent. expect some serious camber from the front with them as well. its no easy task but i think it looks good tucking these monsters. feel free to ask any questions and i will help you to the best of my ability. i dont wanna stray you away from baggin on 20s just want to give you a heads up lol. theres alot of work to do it especially if you body drop its gonna be close with my tire size which is a 35 series. i may end up having to go to a 30 series to tuck up front. only time will tell the body should be going back on soon hopefully after i finish with the frame. if you have any questions feel free to ask.

today started with a little more stripping of the frame then a trip to the car wash to wash of 20+ years of road grime and grease.

after a good scrubbing and cleaning and cutting off the useless now crossmember

i went a different direction with my z i have seen people use a crap ton of jacks and move everything little by little. i tacked a few pieces of 1x1 on each side to get a straight line and just cut it off and let it fall out of the way.

i then measured about 20 times to make sure this bar was straight and exactly and inch and 1/4 z and welded it on the frame

i then sat the frame on top of the bar and lined everything up. i didnt get a pic of every single step. but its pretty basic. lined it up jacked the front up until it was where it was supposed to be and the frame was in line clamped it so i could get some good tacks and welds on it

i ground down the welds and cleaned it up a little and added the upper gussets for strength

and i ran out of wire. lol. so no more welding till i can go pick some up tomorrow. i did set it down and its laying full frame now.

i still have to finish with the gussets and more than likely im going to run a plate on both sides to add some strength. but thats all for tonight thanks to me forgetting to keep an extra roll of wire.

i got some wire. and finished it up today. my phone was dead tho so i only got a pic of it after the plates were put on the side and everything painted. had a bad headache all day and running grinders welder and saw saw didnt help. i finished the one side added gusset to the bottom then put some 3/8 plate steal 4x8 pieces on each side clamped them and welded them up to give it more strength. i will try to get some more pics tomorrow when its light outside again and get ready to put the cab back on and start cutting the floor and firewall for the body drop. also gotta flip my lower ball joint while im at it. im going to run a bigger bag up front if i can fit one in there to get as much lift as possible . as for now its 5 in the am and im tired and still have a bad headache. hope you guys that are following this like the progress so far.

learned this trick on another site. sliced my pinch weld every few inches rolled it with some plyers then hammered it over. worked really well except where there was a bend in it i just cut those sections off.

Looks like a chevy motor. Dodges had deeper crank skirting. Fords are way narrower. Looks cool though. Love the hood scoop.
