That engine is beautiful looking...wish I had more faith in myself to completely tear mine apart and make it look as clean as that.

Thank you so much for the step-by-step pictures of the IRS install. I'm definitely saving those.

I'm amazed at that IRS swap and I can't stop looking at all the pics. I can't believe I've never seen that on here before.

I've got a whole IRS out of a turbo Supra and I might have give this a try on my 83. I was just going to swap the 3rd member into a V6 8" rearend and leave it at that.

Thanks for the inspiration; I hope it all works out for. I can't wait to see it with the bed on there.

Too good!:jawdrop::jawdrop: I am blown away by the apparent simplicity! Now you gotta cut the bed up more thought...Best full coilover/IRS I've seen on a non- full tube frame truck!:bow::bow::bow: (and your trying to retain the bed floor:waytogo::waytogo:)

I made it so the bars unbolt, so the bed floor is still intact. just need to unbolt the bars to remove/install the bed. Or I can remove the bars if I need to haul something as well.

He speaks in riddles sometimes.

I'm guessing he means running leaf springs laterally like in an older corvette but I could of course be way wrong.
