They are AME Fins is what the guy called them but looks very close to VSXX the face is just flat.

Specs on these are 18x11.5 et+10 they stuck out past the fender a tad.... I wish i had independent rear end... :(

man if you're gunna bag it and intend to keep the back seat i gotta say go with an independent rear. on mine to lay frame with 215/35/18 i had to go about 4" above the rear seat floor pan in the center. the seat buns follow the contour almost perfect so you'd need to modify the bottom frames, and raise the seat.

the rx7 rear i'm using sits about 1" below the rear seat pan. the tranny tunnel right in front of the raised seat portion needs to be raised a little. seems to be around 1" so far, but even that should fit under stock carpet. however if you choose to go with the mazda rear you need a high offset wheel since it's about 2" wider then the stock axle.

Man Id love to go with the RX7 rear.... However I'm possibly moving out of state so any major projects are on hold... for the time being.

I'd love to go full custom frame to my specs and might as well new motor set up at the same time :)

those look nice but they are wayyyy to small... if those are 18'' which they look like to me I would go 22.

Ummm I'll let you rock the 22's... 18's are the largest I would go. However I prefer 17's.

    Bump for a sick ride.

I was reading some other post and I read where someone mentioned "lowered 4runner" so I had to find it :waytogo:

Best 2runner! I love how down played it is, and yeah, I'm about the "small" wheels...love the roof box, I like the Starions/Conquest the best! The stance in that last picture w/16s and tall tires looks perfect to me! Looks like its suppose to be that way...

I'm wondering if you have any insight in to doing this with a first gen 4runner? I think (correct me if I'm wrong) its the 2wd standard short bed of the same year set...or would a newer frame work as well??

Haven't been on in a while but phase 2 is about to start. Stay tuned for more....

@rabbit 1st year 4runners have been done pretty much the same as what I did. The rear mounting points need to be moved. Other than that pretty straight forward.

These don't come with the springs do they? What Springs did you use? I'm trying to coil my 88 2wd pickup. Sweet 4 runner BTW :applause:

The rear kit did but I ended up changing them out for shorter springs after all. If I remember correctly my fronts are 550 and the rears are like 450.

Thanks for the info. I tried to get ahold of Seth to see about getting UCAs but he has not replied yet. Currently I am clearancing my stock ones and running the QA1's just one size longer than yours 12.625 - 18.75. But I'm having trouble making an upper mount to hold them since I'm having to build of the outboard side of the frame because the stock UCA mount prevents me from building off the top of the frame. If you got any ideas or know where I can get UCA that would be awesome.

And again, such a cool 4runner.
