Lol...those are called "pike nuts" & they are made for motorcycles. You can find them at local Harley Davidson shops or on Ebay as well. The 90* bend is a factory elbow off a Toyota 92-95 4-Runner & the cables I believe were like $1.25 ft. There heavy duty & was a great buy too!
Are you wanting to move the battery to the bed of your truck like I did?? If so then I can tell you what I did to mine & what was used as well.
I just want to put it on the driver's side where the factory airbox was at. FROM what I know... lol..... Positive Cable NEEDS to be extended. so what do i do with the negative stuff? this is what i'm confused with. Thanks! I want to get it over with, i've talked about it left and right on 22RE's on a few forums and i've never done it. feel like a hypocrite
You can make a longer run of negative back to the stock location or you can just re ground the battery to whatever is convient. On the positive side, what wires need to be extended?
Guys, just make it easy on yourselves and put an extension from the stock terminal clamps, and run them across the core support. I'm sure there are large gauge butt connectors. Put some of that solder paste inside them that you use a butane torch on for good measure. Then tape it all up. No reason to trace them further up the hill.
