The reason that Downey Idler arm gusset works is because the gusset strenghtens the end nob part of the idler arm which is where they break. The reason that I had posted in the first place is to help people that have no knowledge of this get dooped into buying something they dont need.

 

WTF? duped into something they dont need. i dont know what your issue is with this but you make it sound like i am pushing these like it something people have to have or they will loose steering and crash. i simply posted it in case someone would want to do this to there truck too.

and just to clarify something, the downey idler brace doesnt really help all that much. i have one and i still go through idlers pretty damn quick.

 

Dooped may have not have been the correct word but let me clarify this is a mini truck web site not a prerunner web site, the people on this site may not be very knowlegable about prerunner parts or why the are needed. What you are trying to sell, would be more appropriate to sell on Race-dezert.com, Dezertrangers.com, ect. I'm sure you can understand the feedback somebody would get from the prerunner community if they tried to sell lowered truck parts on those sites. The parts you are trying to sell look to be very high quality and would work great on a class 7 truck, but would never be needed on a lowered truck.
