try the intake tube. Must have no air leaks whatsoever.

jump the TE1 and E1 connectors, time to 10BTDC. Mine was 11 or 10, I forgot.

I believe it's already at 10. I thought it was supposed to be at 5?

Well I took off my intake tube an found this(see pic below) put a different one on an it runs a little better. Sputters a little when you give it gas. Gonna change plugs an fuel filter now

haha holy **** dude, that's your problem right there! that hole totally messed with your truck's VAFM readings. What was rubbing on it?

    How bad is the sputtering?

I'd probably pull the EFI fuse out to let it "reset" and get used to the corrected VAFM readings.

Fixed it ran better. The fan rubbed it badly. Then they taped it. So I replaced it runs good. Still seams like there's a miss fire. Replaced the plugs already thinkin the timing is off a little bit. Maybe the O2 sensor before the cat cud be causing it. But I don't have a cat on it lol an tips

is it throwing a check engine light?

may have to reset like said above and take for a lil drive to get the readings all back in order and let the computer get re-calibrated.

    hmmm. whats the misfire like?
I don't have a cat on mine. if you feel like getting a new o2 sensor, grab a denso from rockauto.com for $60. got mine and it works perfectly. Same part at Toyota is $170.
The sensor on the truck should last a long time.
    you're using NGK plugs right?

get some pics of the engine and truck soon, It's nice to let us know what you're working with. we got the pipe problem addressed! lol we're getting somewhere.

Do you have your O2 sensor hooked up? The one before the cat? The missfire just seems like timing that's what my brother and i came too. I only use NGK haha. Gonna try the efi fuse tomoro to see if tht helps out aswell.

mine just has one (i'm in KS...)

Sweet, hopefully the timing will help. you'll need a paper clip, 12mm socket and maybe extension for the dizzy, and timing gun.

I have one too. I believe it's supposed to be before the cat. I'm not running a cat yet but there's no place for the O2 sensor since it's new piping

Ahh alright. Yeah, mine is before the cat. There's a place on the frame that the connectors of the o2 and wires are "attached" to. The o2 sensor should be placed around there. I'll snap a pic of the factory location.

Is the truck running without the o2? that will cause an issue....

Ya it is. It's all hooked up just not in the exhaust piping. It's running much better but think it's a little to rich
