throttle linkage has plenty of slack, and the throttle plate closes completely shut and as far as i know there is little to no air bubbles in my coolant but their may be one stuck in the cold air idle valve.
So does anybody have a writeup that shows how to repair that valve??

 

few bolts hold it on, some carb cleaner to ungunk it, run the truck a while to work the bubbles out. nothing to really repair, either it works, it's dirty, or the wax container broke and it leaked out and now you need a new one.
