Right on, my old 2RZ is in an 83 Datsun 720 now, he had to build a custom pan, but kept the xmember and steering the same, which is quite similar to ours. Check Dcups 'Ivasion of the body snatchers' build thread, he built some clean front coilover mounts for his QA1s.

so recovered my truck today... they stole my Weber 32/36 carb, steering wheel, ash tray, auto meter tach, shift knob, and cut my fuel filler house to siphon out the gas. going to check out the motor tomorrow to make sure its worth working on

sorry to hear that you didnt get it back in running condition. =[

when mine got stolen, the bastards jacked up the ignition cylinder, stole my amp and ripped the faceplate off my deck even though it wasnt removable. gave me an excuse to buy a new sound system though! lol
hope you get her restored to her previous glory soon.

PS, after getting jacked, i invested in a steering wheel lock/club (15$)
i also have a push button starter with a hidden dead man switch under the dash that i cobbled together at my dads shop with spare wire and parts laying around. havent had any issues with theft attempts since getting the club though.

Good to here u got it back sounds like the crackheads needed a few parts . All in all Man U got the body and frame back in one peace and the motor . That usually doesn't happen ..I say replace the parts and add some theft devices and keep Rolling

looks to me like it's for a balance tube

and would make tuning the carbs easier
