What's a 3rd gen weigh anyway? My old blue 76 long box was 2670 with half a tank of fuel, my toolbox with a few hundred lbs in it and my dog riding shotty according to the scrap yard scale. I figure the green truck is way under that. The tool box is mostly empty, all the emissions related crap is gone from under the hood, I also removed that tank of a rear bumper from this truck.

I am putting it on a major diet soon too. Losing all the sound dea from the deadener from the floor, removing most of the inner fenderwells up front and losing the floor of the bed. I may just attack the bed floor with a holesaw instead of complete removal. Gotta lose all the weight I can so I don't gain much from the cage I have built for it.

 

Jetas - yeah when i drove without the bed when i was painting it it was waaaaaay faster haha but no traction

I have a 1 ton sway bar and saw torsions coming soon my truck corners too well now that my tires dont have enough grip to stick it, and theyre a p215 size falken ze912 :/

 

Fun is what i am aiming for. Just a day with so other minis is how i see it.

 

i think i would be at a disadvantage on weight with a longbed ahaha

 

If your motor makes any power, the longbed will make you buy carrier bearings like every month.

Thats all I can remember. There are plenty of trucks out here with this set up or more so i'm sure I'll have no trouble finding a match.Good luck to you guys.
