Those help pretty well but many around here are banked so much the roll is offset. I did stumble onto an old 78-back coil frame front sway bar that works. Another member here used an S10 2wd 25mm from an 80s truck. Had to make a diff frame mount but stock sucks, and the width is about right. Now I know what to do to mine, with an explorer rear bar probably. Good thing domestic rigs suck so we can part them out huh?

Exactly! There's tons of blazers and explorers and rangers at my local yard.

Ya I'm all for it. I'll have one by March. 23mm provides more anti roll then 0 mm. You want your front thicker then the rear anyway. Pretty typical with most track car setups.

    So, I scored a 25mm front sway bar off a 1-ton yesterday ...

The only time you need shorter end links is when you've lowered via torsion adjustment, correct?

I just installed the 23mm front sway on mine (my 84 was not equipped with any) and what a world of difference!! I was quite surprised.

I also took the opportunity to replace my leaky front shocks so I'm sure it added to the overall "wow" factor.

I have a rear sway off of a 91 4runner. I got the axle brackets from a bronco II. side note on that. Due to the uneven axle tube lengths you need to grab 2 left side axle mounts so they will mount symmetrically to our axles. I'll be happy to post some installed pics when I get some free shop time at work.

Yes. If you only have drop spindles all those angles are same as
    Stock.

you have to check your ride height sway bar level and see how "even" the arm is and if its at an upward angle, you'll wanna cut the links down till they are at a decent level to where the sway bar has as little upward kick/angle to it. any other method other than drop spindles will likely require you to modify them to length. my center link is about 1" long after i cut it down...

on the broncoII brackets thats true, i found this out later on... brackets off the chevy blazer/jimmy are even. i can only imagine what a difference it made going from nothing to a 23mm bar. congrats man!

I'd imagine a BJ flip also wouldn't affect the end link/sway angle.

Thanks! I'm super stoked on it. Handles fairly nice. Once I get the rear sway and air shocks in the back I should be able to hang some on/off ramps!

    that is correct.

i have not looked into this yet but the benefits could be very well worth the time to do so.

Would a front sway bar from an 88 4x4 help or be 23 or 25mm?

that i know of they wont work... the width is different on the 4x4's and i believe they will not clear the transmission either since the bars sit lower. they dont have the dip near the middle like the 2wd.

I paid $60 for mine. Angelos auto parts (850) 232-2801. There is one under a dualy camper and one near some bike parts along with a set of 1ton springs. Decent people, dont know if they ship, but I am down there about once a month, and could possibly assist.

There are two, one is a dualy camper (toyota cab front, one ton frame) the other is out and laying near the springs.
