Why does everyone ask that? Everything else is blue. But for some reason I think I'll paint it ***** pink.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty obvious what color I am painting it. But I get that question almost every week.

Man your doing a great job. What timing chain set did you use on your rebuild? I think the Twisted Mini logo on the end of the valve cover would be the bomb.

    Mine is Rock Timing brand.

For the sticker, I'm putting one of these on.

Someone on another forum runs a vynil sticker shop, and made me those. Its using the same font as my stickers. I still wanted it to say 20R. I want everyone to know what I've got, and I'm semi fond of semi stock loooking things. But I still got a custom sticker.:D

Thanks for the reply and man I didnt figure the factory sticker would be that big of a pita to find and I see that the 22r stickers are going to be harder to find now.

Look how long our trucks have been running. Think the American auto builders look at that?

I like my Toyota and will continue to drive it until I cant find parts to keep it running.

You can still get 22R stickers. The 20R is the only one thats discontinued. Pretty much every part for my truck has been discontinued by Toyota, because of age.

I don't find time for anything else. Lol. Its pretty much all I do. I go to school in the mornings, then come home and work on the truck. Weekends I work on t1he truck during the day, and have fun after about 6PM.

Truck should see a little primer tomorrow. Got my garage pretty much turned into a makeshift booth right now, for the second time. Lol.

Why didn't you spray the cab off the truck, all at once?

Seems like that would have been easier to do.

did you do most of the tube work with something like a harbor fright bender or were those bends made with one of those high dollar units?

I did the bends with a pipe bender. I'm collecting parts to build a full hydraulic mandrel bender right now. Just $$$. The pipe bender works pretty good on heavy wall tube. Just not too heavy, I broke the bender once and fractured my wrist with somewhere between 6 and 8 tons of force.

I did not prime the cab off the truck, because the roof still needed to be replaced. Its not so easy when the roof is above your head. Also difficult to spray the roof with it about 6 inches from the garage roof.

    I see.

Is the truck going to need a lot of body work? Shaving anything on the body?

Also, what are your plans for the bed? All concealed with removeable plates or what?

The truck needs its fair share of bodywork. I shaved the cab vents behind the door handles. The door handles and key locks are going, along with the side markers. I already shaved the cowl. All that needs bodywork. I'm going to shave the bedrails, because my tires will come up past them.

As for the bed, I've got two detailed ideas so far. I'm going to figure it out when I get there. One of them is just a raised floor with removeable panel above the rear setup.

Yeah, it looks way worse than it was. Got some high powered fans going on and blowing it out the door at the cops house. It totally smells like paint outside by the sidewalk, lol.

I think it looks good for my first time. I got one door shaved, about to start the other. Takes about 3.5 hours to do one.
