My tank will never drag. And everything is Grade 8. Down to the bolts holding the tank in.

    So I gotta ask...

What do you do for a living, because this project has to be costing some serious coin, even doing everything yourself.

And when do we get to see these new wheels? :)

I've skipped between jobs. Nothing that paid over $8 an hour. Which is $.75 above minumum wage here. I'm lucky because I don't have that many bills to pay, so I can do this. But I really don't have all that much money into it. Probably like 6G at this point.

I definitely love the bodylines on these trucks. They're aggressive, but still smooth.

So I got a new performance clutch installed, and a resurfaced and balanced flywheel. Installed the tranny, which was a bitch. Time to move to the front suspension and steering.

Sometimes I don't believe I'm actually doing this.

Well, I didn't like my spindles silver now that I see the frame, so I stripped them and applied Por 15 last night. I'm waiting for it to be handleable so I can put everything together. But this is where ti sits right now.

Hoping to have it laid out tonight so I can see the camber again.

I'm too busy to clean the garage. I'll do it when I bring it outside and have some room to clean it.

Okay its now at roller status once again. Cool feeling. So I used the front suspension to lift ti off the block holding the frame up.

Was playing with the suspension at different heights, seeing how it would bounce. It feels like it will be pretty smooth about here.

    And laid out.

And a picture of my front suspension.

I can still turn lock to lock.

after reading your update on SSM, I see you leaked a pic or the name somewhere. I tried searching for a few minutes, but gave up. :D

congrats on the trophy from your club xmas party by the way. I think it may be one of the most anticipated minis this year. ;)

There was a picture on the club website. And I shipped a set of arms I built in a box that had the name. So a couple people know that werent supposed to. But they've been good about keeping it on the DL.

Kinda resemble GT mustang wheels from the back...

But I'd hope you'd be more classy then to put something from a ford on a toyota! ;)

Well, umm...except for sweet ass rear disc setups, we'll let that sliiiide! :)

    Thanks man!

And they're not Mustang wheels. Kept it in the Toyota family.
