So did you ever get this to work? I am doing the same exact thing and did not order the qa1 shocks and springs yet . I'm sure I can get them into the truck with some fabrication I was more wondering what combination of shock and spring did you use (part numbers) and if you got it working how well did it work? Was it worth it ? :waytogo:

I'm getting towards the end on my coilover conversion. I'm actually going with a set of RideTech HQ series to get the adjustable damping. I gotta take the pickup up to a truck stop to weigh it before I order the coils and shock. A local 4x4 shop is going to fab up a set of shock towers for me. I'll be creating a thread on my whole process and part #'s etc. here in a few weeks. I'm also working with the shop on taking some requests on the towers for anyone on here looking to do the same conversion!

Also coming this winter goodbye rear shocks and leafs hello rear coilovers!

I decided to go in a slightly different direction. Instead of doing the coilover conversion I decided to do a set of RideTech Shockwaves in the front and rear. I'll still have to do the 4-link and and upper cross-member in the rear like I was going to do with the coilovers and the tubular UCA and possibly have to have the shop fab up an upper shock tower up front. Since Shockwaves cost a S**T ton more then the coilovers as well as everything for the air I had to put the build off until this spring. I work a second job as a bar back and swing bartender all summer and winter to pay for my build updates and other toys which happens in the spring. I've also had some issues with 2 different shops so that hasn't helped. But I found an awesome shop locally that's gonna do the work for me and I have a time next week to take it in to go over all of the details for the work. So it's getting there SLOWLY kinda like my yota low and slow!! I will most deffinitly be posting some pictures here soon once the parts start flowing in and it gets to the shop!
