    Good job!

Just keep an eye out for a period correct valance so that you can go either way if you wish.

    Personally, I like em' both.

I like the correct grill for our trucks better than the later years. But I hate the gap.... If I find the valance I would go back to the original grill. It reminds me of the front clip of a 70 GTO.

    OKAY ROUND 2

I got this done - Pulled toolbox, sanded down bed and spayed with rust inhibitor and rustoleum bed liner, gutted interior, drilled for seats, found later model grill halve, gonna piece them together since my valance will match them; and somewhat straightened bumper to best of my abilities....

Here are SOME pics, more to come......

PS toyboy, I took large pix of the carb set up, linkage and such

just hover over the photo you want, click on the text bar for "IMG code", right click "copy" (or hold CTRL and C) then paste it into the box for your reply. to paste, right click "paste" (or hold CTRL and P). its pretty easy.

I agree... these trucks just seem a bit *too* narrow for me to believe in a bench seat... Though those benches have a few nice-i-ties about...

Love that dash pad. I'd throw a dashmat cover of some sort on that puppy, if I were you.

Truck is coming together beautifully. Great job.
