ok! its in my possesion, and i have a blank canvas. here are the pics i just took. as soon as he got here i went around with a suction cup and started pulling dents. it hadn't ran in 8 months but started on the first try with a fresh battery. i also got back the 2wd four speed that came from my 86. i'm also getting an extra rear 4x4 axle and leafs.
lol from the back it looks like a nice truck.. hope ya have fun modding and wheeling it ! how much did you pay for it ?
its a suction cup sold at harbor freight for lifting glass. the handle cams over and creates a suction. i use it on large dents without creases. just spray a little windex on and give it a quick pull. for little tight dents i have a stud gun. the suction cup works good on big dents. if you look at the first pics i put from the camera phone the drivers door was caved in, now its not
well I have a few dents on my titan and I dont wanna screw up the paint pulling them out before I get a new paintjob... but are there other ways of pulling smaller ones ? from a quarter size to a baseball size ? it can be done, just dont wanna pay the paintless dent repair guy...
i used a ding king before. it worked good as long as the paint is still good in the ding, and the vehicle was made of light gauge metal.
Welcome to the 4x4 world, Burnzya. I'm sure that in no time you'll get that beast in great shape. You may want to consider purchasing a OE skid plate for it, maybe from a junkyard or ebay if you do go wheelin'. Once my friend had a close call, if not for his skidplate, that rock would've damaged his front differential, especially how fast he was moving! Post some pix when you're finished!
