Flash burn

    i've never had it nam.. i even used to weld 12' seams without a hood by placing the nozzle over the arc. i could still see a puddle though, and the welds looked like i had a hood :D.

    i've seen others get flashburn from cutting more than welding in the time i was a welder/fabricator. a torch doesn't seem as bright, but it will get you just as easily as welding.

    since i've started wearing contacts i've been really good about wearing safety glasses, as well as a face shield. :lol: SAFETY FIRST!!:waytogo:

    regarding the blue eyes thing ... it seems to be 50-50 My eyes are more sensative to light than some... random friends can be counted both ways..
