Thanks everyone, I got them on there but I had to add so 5/16 spacers and the lugs are only threading on maybe 4 threads. Do I need to buy some longer lugs? How do you even replace them on the back?

Thanks! I am really liking the white now that the rims are on. I am thinking about keeping it white. What does everyone think? I still need some help with the short lugs too.

Are you using the Z's lug nuts?

No I am using the Toyota lug nuts. They fit about right just not enough bite on the threads. I get maybe 4 threads of bite.

I need some assistance with this. I was hoping that I could get a helpful response before I got off work so I could pickup parts on the way home. I live too far away to pickup parts.

I have heard that buying rear studs and putting them in the front works for the front as they are longer. No clue for the rears.

Id get the tuner lugs that are longer like 1 1/2 2 inch length. I dont know the threads I think its something like 12x1.5 or 14x1.5 for our trucks but yah the longer tuner lugs get plenty of bite cause they can sit in the bevel of the lug pattern on rim deeper that the stock lugs.

Maybe I will bring my a lug into town and see if i can find some. I didnt know if I needed longer lugs are the lug nuts that sit in the bevel of the rim. What about a more low profile front hub bolt cover?

Nah dont think they make those, or longer studs maybe:shrug: I just know tuner lugs usually will sit further into the bevel so you can get a few more threads into it!

I am planning exactly that. I bought new caps from the dealer in case I jack up my old ones. I am going to cut and weld a plate on my old ones to make them as low profile as possible. I figure I can take off at least a 1/4 inch. I am trying to avoid spacers at all or at least end up with less of a spacer.

Yeah I would like to avoid spacers too. I do not want to spend too much more time or money on the wheels. I feel that I have spent enough already. I am curious if a celica has a more low profile hub bolt cover.

I don't think so, but 30 min with a die grinder and a welder and I can make a set.

I dont have much access to a welder or i would. I think i might go with the tuner lugs so the wheels stick out a little further to keep the width. I did a lot of searching on autozone and checker to find some so i might be in luck.

Let me know because I would like to maybe do the same. I will possibly still need a spacer if my dust cap hack is an epic failure.

Haha I will let ya know what I find out. The lug nut that looks the best is $6.69 each at checker. That is $140 for all lug nuts. I might go a different route. That is a lot of money on lugs.

Are they locking at least? You should be able to get a set of gorilla locks for less than that.

So I found out that it is not getting stuck on my dust cap. It was very very close so took a dremel to the outside of the dust cap and it fit it just fine but there is a lip on the hub that it is catching on. I will have to dremel a part of the inside of my rim to get it to fit. The lugs did not fit inside the lug hole some I would have to drill the holes out and would rather not.

That doesn't sound right. I picked up a set of tuner lugnuts for my truck at the local Autozone. I think I paid about 25 bucks for the whole thing. Maybe 6.69 per wheel?

If you Dremel it out by hand their is a possiblilty of future vibration issues
If you plan to go this route I would suggest to just have the rims bored out on a lathe. It's safer.
