So I have a couple questions. I bought the new drop spindles from Belltech and the setup is different and i need 2 more bolts that holds the dust cover. The original one has 2 12mm bolts but the Belltech uses 4 instead. Does anyone know the thread for these bolts? Was my spindles suppose to come with them?

Also the dust cover does not match up with the new spindles, do i just hammer them to get them to fit?

I went to the Toyota dealer for the bolts.

I trimmed the dust shield where it needed it.

You will also need to adjust your tie rods as the mounts are in a different a location. (You will see what I mean once they are in)

Thanks for the info, I need to go to the Honda/Toyota dealership today anyways to pick up a bolt for my Honda. I could trim the dust shield with tin snips right?

I did notice the tie rods are in a different location but i planned on having someone align it for me. Should I get it as close as I can first?

You should be able to use tin snips. I didn't have any so I used a die grinder with a cutoff wheel.

As for the tie rods, you will have to get them close in order to drive it.

A page or so back. That hummer front is SICK, Im doing the newere FJ on mine. Beamer conversion was pretty much the newer 3 series like an M5 or 330XI conversion would be sick and would look a bit like the one pictured above however Iwouldnt graft onto the hood Id leave the hood as is and line up the lights and bumper then work my way down from the hood. That truck above (bmw) works but just imagine now how large your bumper is gonna be. Dion the pic you had with the lexus front was what i was basing my idea off of however it would run the full is300 grill with the lights so not quite that smooth (tons of sheet metal work) but it still looks frickin sick.

Yeah I agree I would not want to graft it onto the hood but if I could do a BMW split grill so it still looks like the BMW front end but split at the hood I would like it. I dont know if I can get my hands on sheet metal like that but I might be able to make fiberglass pieces. I will see what I can find and start from there. I will stick to the 4Runner front end for now. I might make a few changes to it though.

I found some old pictures of my first mini truck. It was a 1989 Dodge Dakota that i picked up for $300. This is my graduation day in high school about 8 years ago.

And a sneak peek of my truck with the drop on. I am not going to post any more pictures until I finish the drop. I should have it done today or in a couple days.

Yeah I am starting to get pretty excited myself. I still need to put the interior together but I should be able to get that done this week.

hey man what exactly did that emblem come off of.. i really like that idea an i thought about doing something subtle like that with my motor swap.. Ive have talked to G-money the guy with the lexus front swapped taco... I will tell ya that mod aint for the faint of heart and thats why not many front end swapped rides are rarely finished

The emblem came off of a truck of a IS 300 i think. I am not positive i bought it off ebay and didnt really look into it much. It fit in the front better then i thought. I didnt even plan on going on the front.
