The first 2 images are half way through removing the paint so I guess it is a half way before and after.

Ok I have some picture overload for anyone that wants to check it out. So I have always been into plaid and the GTI interior. I guess you could say I am into the european look, like everything european. haha. This is the look I was going for, tell me how close I am too it.

This is a mock up of what the plaid looks like as a boot. it will be done much much better when it is actually done.

I bought a Lexus emblem from ebay for $3 and thought I would see how well it fits and I was hella surprised.

Yeah I am digging the 4runner front clip. I bought my truck with the front clip already on from an older guy that used the truck to commute to work. I think I lucked out with it. What do you think of the Lexus emblem? does it look good or is it over board?

I thought about making my own but not too sure. The Lexus emblem is not seen very often around here. You do not see many Lexus cars and you do not see many custom toyota pickups either. I will rock the Lexus emblem for now and see what I think. I also have Lexus center caps for my rims and a lexus insert i made for my gear shifter.

man you should get a lexus grille!!!! A little bit of mods here and there but get one from an rx350 or is300 with the billet slits and the big chrome L emblem would look sweet

Yeah I have thought about that too, If I can find one for a good price I will. I am mostly short on money trying to get it running. Once I get it road ready that might be my next task.

That would look sick. Around here in cali i see alot of different stuff but most of it is ugly as hell but some stuff looks good. I say rock the emblem if there is not many out there.

The toyota emblem looks horrible, it didnt fit right and all the chrome paint was flaking. I will rock the emblem and shoot for a Lexus grill. My initial thinking was half of a Tundra grill, the 2 center chrome pieces and the emblem. The Tundra grills are much bigger so that is why i though half of it would work out.
