I bought my rebuild kit off Ebay. If its only $180 Id buy the complete kit cause your only spending a little over a hundo more that just the timing chain kit. You might not need it all now or want to do it now but atleast you will have it laying around.
Oh ya forgot to put the pics up of the new mirrors i installed instead of the harley mirror. Here they are
Ok i finally put some new shoes on. Now i need to get my notch and my timing chain done and then the rest of the parts start going on. Heres the pics what do you guys think?
Man those look amazing! I personally think you should keep them just like that because it makes the truck look really brand new. Im glad you finally got them on.
Ya i figured i would keep them black and just have my stock ones white when ever i want to change. It lifted my truck back up 1 inch so im not as low but im still tucking. When i get some more money saved up and get my notch i plan on getting some 40 series instead of 50. Yankeetaco.... thanks again man, my truck wouldnt be were it is without your help. Cant wait to have a mod day at your pad. Keep me informed.
Anytime man.. You dont need a mod day just to come down and work on ur truck. Just give me a heads up and ur always welcomed anytime and anyday.
the steelies look sick on there man. in fact if you wanna make em' look a little sicker, i have a set of hub caps off my 78 corollathat would fit and they only cover up the center of the hub... it'd be different, and i doubt i'll use em' again.
dyrti....... I would love to try them out and run them on mine. Alittle old skool with alittle new. Shoot me a PM and ill send you my address.
looks real nice man, throw some spacers on there. it'll fill the wheel well out and even handle little better too.
