    I'm now doing some tube work ...
    I'm starting with bracing the shock towers and a mount for the intercooler
    so will post that up when I get some progress done

    so a little time this weekend to get a little done ...
    I'm bracing the front shock towers and building the front "tube" section , so I needed to get my real engine in , which I still need to add some things to , so I can make sure all my clearances will work

    so out of it covered shrink wrapped casing it comes

    so , with the tranny out again , I needed to make a modification for the speedo cable . plasma cut out the section that was interfering , and used a piece of 2" tube to fit .. should work

    still not welded as my weekend is over ... but heres where the "cage" is starting

    as previously mentioned .. supports made and now tacked into place

    thanks ... I do know of the clamps ...
    this is not going to be a pretty truck though .. already have one of those .. this one is on a budget , and @ $30.00 (USA) bone for those clamps + freight , it isn't going to happen .

    when I originally started the project , I had planned on making it all nice , and "show worthy" .... that's why the engine is all painted ..
    but I have since decided just to get working on it , and then drive the crap out of it .. so function takes priority over form

    I don't even think it's going to be street legal

    I don't ... it is still inside , but I got side tracked again .
    currently building a "Mojave tribute" .. it's a /86 4X4 3.4L with twin turbos ..
