see i don't get that... so is it better to get 3'' drop leafs or 3'' drop block, any difference?

 

yep there is deffinately a difference!

I got the leafs the other day...

the stock leaf are two normal leafs and a third support leaf for extra weight...

the drop leafs are the two normal leafs with a lower arch and no third support leaf...

which means blocks will make the ride the same and you can still carry a load better

drop leafs kill the load capacity but will make it ride more like a car not a truck,
also the leafs are more stable and won't let the rear wander under hard acceleration and cornering.

Besides blocks can and do break, just ask the guys on here, I have read about more than one set of cracked blocks even on an old like 73 with a whopping 89hp 18r or some really weak numbers like that... blocks suck you can have mine if ya want em, never installed! LOL!



oh and BTW I got the chassis tech spindles coming... $189 shipped!! WHooHoo!!
messaged the $205 guy on ebay when I noticed his prior sales showed he sold em for 189 back in Nov... so he gives me his number I called him... and their on their way!
