Ok Fella's it's time again for an update...

Thanks to Tony and Josh (our new friend from Aberdeen) and Especially Justin (greasy wrench fabrication)

We have accomplished quite a bit of new work on Two Low!

Justin have built 2 cross members, the carrier bearing and tranny cross member and has Z'd the frame 2" and did the Bottom Ball Joint flip we still have more work on the Bottom Ball joint before it's done these Spindles were not meant to be that way, So we are going to re taper the spindle and put in a Larger Ball joint.

With that said Sunday we cut the floor out of the Cab and laid everything back on the frame for a test fit. now to start Welding the floor back in...

here are just a couple pics I forget to take them some times, and Tony has a couple more when he gets home tonight.

Thanks Guys for coming over and lending a Hand

Yeah Bro, I think we might be taking a 1/4 inch off the bottom of the door.
The rockers were gone. the passenger side rocker was stuffed full of plastic bags cause the rust had eat it up. we only bodied it 4 inches.

We set the cab on to check linement.. and with the 17's we are gonna have to mini tub it...

Once we get the bed cut and back on and line the body lines back up we will know for sure

and while we are at it we're gonna unibody it...

From what I've read the hard part is yet to come.

    Hey folks

    FYI

I am building this truck (Not as a Show truck) but rather a dependable daily Driver.

I have been looking around doing research on different aspects, and I always seam to be here on TM more than anywhere else, more activity I guess.

But I want all of you to know up front.
I don't have 3-4 hundred to spend on Stainless steel like others. So my truck is built with what we have.

one of the pictures I have been kind of embarrassed to post is of how we Sectioned the LCA's 1 inch because I did not have the money to get the 80's model front clip, or the money to buy the weld in ball joints to make custom LCA's like most everyone did.

So we Z'd the frame 2" and found that with 17's I still needed 1" to lay completely out. I will be going back to the Shop some time this week and will get pics of the LCA's and post them up...

This is what happens when you don't know how to weld and your so called friends that do know how Flake out on you.

Their excuse (you want too much out of our friendship)

So I went and got another one to start over with.... and after I teach myself to weld I'll finish the body drop on the Blue one and Swap cabs.

It was a long time coming but lets see if I can pick back up...

I've been told that wen we cut the floor out and did not brace anything that I will never get the cab back true again, so I'm just going to take all my good Parts and put on the new one.

You'd be surprised what you can do with some math and really, really good measuring. That said, if you're committed to the new one, run with it.
