we cut the floor out of the bed amnd the easiest way to square it up was upside down.

made the cups to hold the upper four-link arms its 21/2 inch pipe cut long ways
and the tabs made to fit inside it.

there's more to come to help tie the rest of the frame into itself

Im about at the spot where i need wheels top start mocking up the truck and since i don't have much room i can't run too wide of a wheel.I was thinking of taking a loan out and buying billets but i really don't wanna dump that much money into a set of wheels and it i whack a pothole i wouldn't be very happy.

so since i work at a salvage yard i did a little research, my buddy who worked at sts sent me a picture of a set of 20" oem toyota wheels and said you have to put these on your truck.
i went thru and found out they're they dame lug pattern and they're only 7inches wide....perfect.
too bad they wanted 2200 on ebay for a used set and 300 a piece from new york city.
i found a guy in wisconsin who would ship em to me and beat everyone's prices i got my wheels or under $1000 bucks
    off a 2009-2010 toyota venza

yes! when i first started building my lux i wanted a set of them venza wheels so bad. i had spotted em sitting in traffic. i ended up going with what i have because the only venza wheels i could find were $1200 with no rubber.

they look awesome on your lux!

Nice wheels. Are you running spacers?

600 is really cheap,no theyre 5x114.3mm which is the same as 5x41/2 just have tp get toyota specific lug nuts with a colar to run them

Spacers, not adapters. They tuck real nice. I was just wondering if you had to use spacers to push them out a bit.

no i didnt have to do anything i still have to adjust and build control arms for the front. theyre the perfect width for the way the trucks set up theyre a liitle 2 wide in the back they touch the rail on the top body line in the back so i gotta pull some magic there but other than that they were pretty much meant for a hilux

Got the uppers all tacked up and tested them out with the stock lowers and supra knuckles everything worked out.
now its on to building lowers.
the cross shafts wouldn't work for building new controlling arms, so i had to build my own cross shafts using the same design with a different twist.

i built my new cross shafts out of 1 inch od 1/4 inch wall tube.
the jig is all set up now all it is trial and error to get the ball joint angle correct and then repeat the step for the other side

    Finally making progress...

FINALLY SAT DOWN AND PULLED THE BENDER OUT AND FABBED UP THE LOWER CONTROL ARMS

I HAD TO BUILD THE CROSS SHAFTS BECAUSE OF THE WAY THE STOCK ONES WERE DESIGNED, THEY'RE NOT FULLY WELDED JUST TACKED FOR FITMENT AND TO TEST THEM OUT.

THIS IS HER ALL LAID OUT

WHILE I WAS BUILDING THE CROSS SHAFTS AND CONTROL ARM FOR THE PASSENGER SIDE MY BUDDY BUILT SOME GUSSETS FOR THE REAR BAG MOUNTS.I LOVE THEM I THINK THEY CAME OUT SO SINISTER.

HERE'S THE REAR END ALL SET UP WITH THE BAGS
