you just set off a lightbulb for my next project, and i'm not even done with my current one, nor do i even have a next project. (o.k. ido have another project,but i'm going the bolt on route for that one b/c its an explorer, and theres not a lot of options-thanx chassis tech- for those things, plus i want to try to retain some type of oem look if i ever get to build it. of course this all implies that i intend on keeping it... jury's still out on that one.)

 

So what the lightbuld?

 

a similar c-notch... picture a notch like yours, only deeper, but more..... hmmmm.. not sure how to explain myself so clearly..... maybe after i get all my "chores" done today i'll sit down and try to draw it out. yeah, that might work better.

here the plate for the c notch. i was going to cut the centers out but the plasma started acting like a GIRL. so i plug welded them instead.

 

so i went to petboys to get lugs nut and bumpstop for the truck and i pull up and there was 2 truck there.lol
heres a pic with the 1 inch wheel spacer on the front that i got from SDyota

 

Turned out great. Now do mine!

got red flaged

i got pulled over the other day and they red flaged the cyn yota. for those that dont know what (red flaged) is, it meen that the truck is not aloud on the steets. they flaged me cus i dont have any cab vins on the truck. they let me take it but i have to park it till the CHP give me new vins. they said if they see it on the road, they will take and crush it. but it all good. i go to the CHP on wednesday to get new vins, but i might have to reff it to, so the somg stuff will need to go back on.

 

Dam that sucks man. Minitruckers should be exempt from any of that crap. All we care about is taking care of our ride. And we know how to keep it in good working condition. Most other drivers on the road don't have any passion like that towards what they roll in.

 

Hey are we aloud to drive like that on the road? Do cops get mad?
