custom side exhaust illegal or not??

    No it's the whole muffler lol I'll look better once I clean it up and have my soft tonneau cover :)

    Not really when the window is up u can berly tell. When it's down it's a big loud but I have the stereo on so is all gravy

    I ran my exhaust out under the level of the bed floor on my wheeler a few years ago. Started with a 50 series flowmaster and it was fawktardedly annoying so I slapped a glass pack in front of it. It was a bit better but still sucked. On the bright side I didn't have any issues with ripping off the tail pipe after that! :lol:

    No same body and chassis as the 240. Look up 89 180sx. There's a new thread on here about a drift truck and the builder has a 180 same year too!! Brought back memories....

    I think your thinking of the skyline, they kinda have that box look like an ae86.

    Yeah the 240sx and 180sx is the exact same thing. 180sx is jus the name for it everywhere except america, only US calls is a 240sx

    looks nice, cant imagine how strong the fume will be, on mine side exit before passenger rear tire smells quite a bit with windows down parked

    i thought the exhaust setup was a bit more extravagant. love how simple it was and it came out pretty nice imho. the bed cover to hide it would make it perfect. get a video up of it when you get a chance.

    I had a cover on it already but it flew off on the freeway haha :( I love how in the cold u can see all the smoke coming out from the side though. Ill post a video when I install the header

    I was in Japan for two years, the 180sx and 240sx is the same car. diff is the right hand steering, some models come with a black top valve cover or red cover and a turbo. shifting with the left hand takes about a week to get use to.
