ya this thread is 2 different trucks, it started as a parts truck thread, then i updated it without reading it and it turned into my build thread.




as for fixing your bar, what i would do:

find a new bar that is mostly the right size (diameter) and one that is small enuff to fit through the stock bar in the frame rails.

id hold the new "big" bar in place and slide the "small" bar in to align it, and weld in the big bar. pull out the small one after.

or you might make a X with 2 bars leaving room for the diff, would actually do a better job then the stock bar did.
