I have an 85 xtracab 2wd and want to convert power window setup.
I really want to use factory setup, do I need to get the complete wiring harness from one that has power windows?

You need to get the window regulators , switches , & fuse box from a donor truck.
I took the whole doors from a 4 Runner has I had vent windows & want one piece glass, this is easier.
I changed the switches has the stock one have a timer in them & are prone to failure!!
The reason for the fuse box ( at drivers side kick panel )is there are two relays ,one for power windows , the other for power locks.

You don't happen to have the old doors with the vent windows, do you? I'd love to find that and the original sliding back glass

No, I gave the wrecker my door & some cash for the 4 Runner doors
Has for the sliding rear glass you should be able to find, the solid glass is hard to come by!

doors are the same for vented/not vented. I have gone back and forth with my truck. I can check to see if I still have all the vent window conversion parts.

Yeah, I can also confirm the doors are the same. My truck had the vent windows before i got it. It was my first vehicle, which was a gift from my dad, and he and the guy he bought it from replaced them with a solid glass unfortunately. If you don't mind checking that would be awesome!
