Macawilial, do you have a build thread for the thing? Eager to see it!

Byker, I don't think I heard about this. What day and time also where's it at?

It's a huge show at Arlington airport. This will be the 20th year or something. Summer slam by sittin pretti. There's a thing in the event section. Google it too. You really should bring it out. Yours and mine look good in a show together lol

Looks great! Red was always my first choice but you take what you get right?

    No build thread yet...

I picked it about the same time you picked yours up though (beginning of March). Same year and color too. Won't touch it till I sell the bagged truck and get more funds.

Plastidip... Now that its on, whats your opinion on it? Overall durability, finish?

Thanks for all the compliments guys, means a lot. Plasti-dip is still holding up good, a little of it started to eat away after I topped off the fuel tank a little too much and it poured down the side of the bed, the dip is still there it's just a little faded is all. No updates on the truck now, still getting a few things paid off before I start to go through the 2rz and get everything I need for the swap. In the mean time I have been going to a handful of shows up here in the PNW and have felt honored to see pictures up online of my rig from photographers. Here ya guys go.

    parts inquiry...

I know you have parts galore. Just wondering if you could post pics...specific pics. I just bought some front wheel cylinders for the 72 (RN14) for me from rockauto. I was thinking that the wheel cylinders would be mirror imaged of the two but they aren't. Can you post some pics of yours so I could compare? I'd really appreciate it.

macawilial - Next time I get to it on either of the trucks I'll snap a picture of what it looks like for you.

standardbyker88 - I almost took them off because I didn't really like the look, but after they got dipped I didn't mind them as much.

beyondspexj - The guy that did it buys it in bulk, by the 5 gallon bucket. I want to say he used maybe 3 gallons of red, not sure about the black and white. He did like 7 or 8 coats light coats of it. I think if you went to dipyourcar website, buying by the bucket would be your best bet. They also sell kits that include a gun and everything else you need. I would imagine buying a ton of cans would take a while.

Thanks for all the compliments guys, means a lot. The build is slowly going. Got the 2rz swapped out of the Tacoma, just getting funds together to overhaul the engine a little bit and finding time to get to work on it. I'll try to keep the updates coming though!

Couple more pictures taken by some photographers that were at PSTOF (Puget Sound Toyota Owners Festival), where I won best 2wd pickup. First trophy! Also a picture of the 2rz right before we took it out of the Tacoma, and a picture of my quick shifter boot addition, gotta love that crown maple.

    Bump

Thanks for the help. I'd really appreciate it. I haven't touched my truck yet. It sits in the parking lot at with a stuck rear drum. Just waiting for the right time to bring it home. That and I have no room at home.

Cody that trophy is well deserved! Props! We gotta hit a cruise again sometime. Any local shows coming up? Big or small? Or maybe throw a party in the woods for all the low riders and hoochies :D

No updates yet, still just letting some funds go through until I get to start building it up. I really need to do a front disc swap before I get all of this done. Byker, you still have any hookups about finding any of these that will swap right on?
