Awesome build. I'm glad somebody on here ended up with Brandon's truck for parts at least. If you feel like parting with some TEQ mudflaps I want dibs. Been dragging the tips of 2nd gen flaps for years. Want some 1st gens lol.

Standardbyker, did you know the guy who owned this parts truck, was he the guy who originally got everything for it? Would love some info if you know anything about him. I like the TEQ mudflats a lot but unfortunately I didn't get those ones that a lot of the RN10's had with the jagged bottoms.

Thanks TRfknD, it's going to be a pretty long time until I have the money to put a turbo on it, but someday. Those numbers in your signature are nuts haha.

I told you numerous times, buddy, I'm not getting rid of any parts right now. Even if I was, there's a couple guys in front of you. Like I said, when its time to start selling things I will go back and contact you.

Since you're local you would be higher on the list, and there's only 1 other guy in the state that has contacted me. But there's a couple good guys here on the forums that are out of state that would take first dibs, that's just how it works. As soon as the build is around done I will contact you about items you need.

I've been under a big giant rock for a while. Great build and fantastic score on the parts truck. I would have loved to have found something like that. Keep up the good work. Email sent.

Toydatto, thanks a ton man, good to see you here on the forums and thanks for the email, I wrote ya one back!

If a lot of you others don't know, his build is my inspiration for the majority of my build, from how it sits to wheels and so much more. Reason I sold my '76 to get my '72 was because of his truck. Definitely takes my top spot.

Thanks standardbyker88, I PM'd you back about those parts. You ever go to PSTOF? I've entered my 4Runner the past few years along side my other few buddies over on YotaTech and their trucks, and was planning on entering my 5VZ swapped '88 this year... but I think my '72 is gonna be the one I take, not many mini trucks there if I remember and definitely want to show off my project.

In other news, still waiting on lowering blocks, didn't think they would take this long, but I'll be patient. Still have to get pictures up and measurements of the Tokico shocks vs the stock ones. That'll be posted within the next few days if I get around to it.

i havent been to that show since 2009. only time i went. same year i had it in a lot of shows. any stock length shock should work, name brands are better. i have 69 camaro v8s with drop coils right now. i have spare drop springs and spare stock springs if you need springs to drop it too. im sure they drop just as low as mine, toydatos was damn close.

Nice, first year I went was 2010, won best newer 4Runner trophy for my '98, wasn't expecting haha. You should come this year though, rumors saying it might be at Toyota of Kirkland instead of down at Griots in Tacoma, just for more space. Yeah I'm trying to get to the level toydatos was at after he took the bags out the first time and had the static drop. Finally got my tracking number sent to me for the blocks, so those should hopefully be there within the next week, maybe the truck will be lowered the weekend after Memorial day.

Sweet. Ill try and get all the lowered 1st and 2nd gens to come to PSTOF13. I saw 671miyagis 71 and its really clean. Never saw toydattos, hes in utah. I have some front springs that will get you where I sit or there abouts.

Yeah that'd be cool to see some other older ones there. I'm going to see how it sits with the stock Mighty Max ones, then see if I want to go lower, I'll just cut at that point.
