eh? sorry that doesnt make much sence... carbs are naturally a lot louder than a efi set up. you may be hearing the egr (lil pipe that starts @ exhaust manifold ,loops around the back of eng and goes into the smog pump) if that is not plugged or loose it will be quite loud as its basicly a exhaust leak
i think he means that the carb is running high. mine was set high when i got it and i looked at the card and there are 2 screws on the left when u look at it from the pass side fender. back the one on your left out till the rpm's drop. hope u understand and it helps
