Well, the notch will actually be stronger than the original frame. If the welds are good....

heck a 4link is insanely strong.. my friend's bagged truck got rear ended his bed is destroyed but the only part of his frame that was bent was the bed mount welds.

I took my proportioning valve off too and haven't had a problem with it.

my hilux didnt come with one from the factory (75) and its scary as hell when you stab the brakes. makes it easier to drift but, stopping quick is hard when the backs are sliding.

hey Lit was the proportioning valve a 2 inlet and 3 outlet looked them up on summitracin.com and found the 2 inlet summit brand for 115 and the 2 inlet wilwood for 44. Also what exactly did you mount the pv to? Thanks

Thanks beefed really good stuff! The only thing is i bought a premade step notch and itll go right where the pv is and for cross bar. Also did you guys cut and weld with the gas tank stil mounted? And how did you replace the gas tank bracket that mounted to the cross bar and also the muffler brackets? Thanks

No, the valve I used was a single inlet, single outlet.

Let me see if I can find it....

Nothing other than the frame was modified. 1 day project, bed stayed on, truck got jacked up properly so there wasn't any bed sag while notching, and no other mods other than the c-notch.

Rear drop was 6". My steel 3" Beefed blocks, 3" Belltech leafs that ride firm and allowed me to get away with not having to clearance the round cross member that was 1" above his 3rd member. Then I simply jacked the axle back up, reattached his shackles and he was off rolling smooth and happy as hell.

I've been doing a lot of reasearch on the bpv which.led me to a thread on streettacos and beefed u were talking about the lifted guys using ur adjustable bpv. Have u tried It on a lowered application yet. Also I believe sd touch on it too in another. With all the info I gathered I think I have to go with lits suggestion jus gotta find the right pv. Appreciate all your help beefed u r the man! All the work u do is awesome! Hate to beat a dead horse but can't wait till u start coming out with more products for the pretacos.

I will also try to document my notch and what I do with the bpv.
