One down & one to go. Just have to cycle the suspension through & check clearances @ the braided hoses, bleed & test drive
that is pretty. I bought the revolution kit for 600 bucks on ebay and paid a about 100 bucks for powder coat. I don't know how much he sells it for outside of ebay. where did you get the longer wheel studs? I really could use those with my new brakes and current wheel spacers
Awesome! Thanks for posting the pictures. Now I can start with mine. WAIT... will the big brake fit 16" wheels?
The studs I got from a local auto supply SP Auto part # DOR 610-265, the stock ones are 37mm & the replacements are 45mm,the the splined area is slightly larger put their go in ok. Using the spacer & lug nut to pull them through. Not sure about a 16" rims,17" & bigger no problem. You can send a PM from this site to MTB68TOY(Mike) or Litneon, one of them might know.
16s are pretty small. Philip at revolution sent me a template to stick on the back of the wheel to see if they fit. The template is the only for sure way to know. and thanks for the info about the wheel studs. I have been searching for info on that for quite a while now.
Glad I could be of some help. The revolution kit for the front of my 88 was going to be $1200 + , & they would build a rear kit to match for another $1400+. Great brakes, great looks, but I'll have all Wilwood (will be changing the calipers @ some point in time)for way less! What I plan in the rear is a Wilwood caliper that is a parker also.
I put up the 4x4 calipers against my 16" wheel this past weekend... It doesn't look like it will fit with the big rotors. It fits snug with the factory rotors tho. Can the 4x4 calipers mount to work with the stock rotors??
Finished the 2nd side today, broke in the pads /rotors. Everything is good, seems to pull to one side @ hard braking from 60+. Have to find the cause?
I did the same to my 1987 pick up,the wilwood numbers are already here but instead of using the 4x4 caliper I bought wilwood calipers and then made my own brackets, hub rings etc.,all of the pix's I have are on cardomain under my name of srturbotoyota with part numbers and some dimensions.
just ordered a kit a few weeks ago. he is still making them, and contact him about the price's he will work with you. www.phattys.ca . i'll get some picks up when i get the truck back from paint and get the brakes installed. its gonna be pretty.
